I really love my mom and I am taking care of her even if she is now 76 and in a way not so mobile and in good health anymore, but the problem now is that my job will be assigning me to the next state and I could not bring her along with me as it is much too small in my apartment there and also, it is company owned so I am not allowed to bring in anyone. So we had to decide quickly if I should put her in an Assisted living facility as this is much like a nursing home and with this, I am pretty much assured that my mom will also be taken care of as I read a lot about these Assisted living facilities in a site called alfa.org, and knowing that there are trained professionals handling my mom in there gives me the peace that I know she is safe and well cared so if any emergency arises, there is someone to assist her in there even If I am far away. It is hard to leave my mom, but life has to go on for me and I need my work also to support my family and I cannot give that up. It is this facility which is my last hope to be able to help me, but I think it is a wise decision to do so as it helps me sleep better at night knowing my mom is quite okay in these facilities and well guarded and cared for by these professionals.
